Within this week, the timer knob went from working fine to needing to "whirl" it to engage(catch gears). Then of course it is now spinning freely clockwise and counter-clockwise. I ordered a new knob not understanding the actual problem. I understood what was going on when I tried to R & R the timer knob. The timer shaft just spins. Without paying for a new timer assembly(which is $100), is there a way to fix this?
I am thinking of trying to find a solution or just buying another used set.
Thanks in advance,
GLion

Unfortunately timers are not repairable and you would need to order the whoe timer.
