Refer does not cool or freeze. Starter in appearance seems fine as far as I can tell (no smell or rattle). I can not tell if the compressor is running b/c fan runs constantly. No line of the compressor is getting hot or cold.
Any advice would wonderfull.

1.Unplug refrigerator.
2.Remove back panel
3.With a pliers
hold fan blade
4.Plug refrigerator back in(be ready to let go of fan)
5.You should now hear if compressor starts
6.Just because a relay doesn't look bad is not a way to tell.

Thank you ice house, way to smart to grab the fan motor. I will try this and listen for the compressor to start. Thank you for such a quick response. What are your thoughts on this model of refer? Just trying to decide how much energy to put in to repairs

Ice House or ?
Disabling the fan I can indeed hear that the compressor is running, it is also warm to the touch as it was running for the past 24 hours. The line set out (or in) to the compressor is warm ?100degrees =/- and one line is cool 50 degrees =/-. If the coolant leaked from the compressor would there be evidense? Is there a relay or? that could be preventing the coolant from circulating? Any help would be much apprieated.

Was thanked: 2 time(s) in 2 post(s)
Pull off the back freezer panel and check for a frost pattern, if totally frosted, you have a defrost problem, if partial frost, you either have a freon leak, or a bad compressor. Best to do this while the compressor is still running

After pulling off the pannel in the freezer there is no frost at all on the coils and no fan activity in the freezer. The refer has been pluged in for 24 hrs +. Is this a bad compressor/freon leak?

The evaporator fan will not come on until the coil temperature decreases.
From what you have been describing you have a refrigerant leak which must be repaired by a certified technician. :)
