I cannot see how to remove control panel. Have new timer to install but cannot get control panel off. Please send details so a dummy can save $125.00 service call.

On this model you shove a stiff, thin putty knife under the end caps in the gap between the consold and the top. This will release clips that hold the console to the top and you can get to the timer.

This used to be easier, but a bunch of engineers and designers with nothing better to do changed things.
