:mad: Had a minor lint fire. Cleaned and rehooked to outlet. Everything functions except for the heating element which only stays on for 1 minute. Checked for 110/220 at appropriate checkpoints and is ok. need a game plan

Your house venting is probably clogged, remove vent hose from dryer and check for constant heat.

Run the dryer without the vent connected. Will it now run without shutting off?
