I replaced a bad igniter in the oven but the durn thing still won't light. The igniter glows brightly but the gas doesn't turn on.
What next I wonder?

What next I wonder? Mark, You'll need to check for proper voltage back to the burner gas valve. You should read 3.2 to 3.6 VAC across the 2 wires at the valve while the igniter is glowing, if the voltage is there you have a bad valve, if not you have a weak igniter or loose wiring connection. Good Luck, :) :) :)
