I purchesed and installed a Indoor Soap dispenser from you and my wife says it doesn't work. The machine cycles but the door does not open. This is such a simple switch I don't understand, can I check it with an ohmmeter or power down and power up the machine or what ? I also replaced the inlet valve at the same time. Thanks, PapaRoro

Open the door during the wash cycle and check if the middle spray arm (under the upper dish rack) is spinning properly. Also check if the dishes on the upper rack are wet.
"never worked right" is not much information. If you would like to fix the dishwasher and make your wife happy, you have to diagnose it yourself.
Gene.
