I have lost power to my microwave. It may be the fuse. How do you take off the control panel on this model in order to get to the fuse?

Nauzergirl,

Your probably correct, or at least at a good starting place, but

The model number you supplied is not for a microwave( it's a faucet).

Please re check the model number on the production/serial plate on the unit, so we can assist you efficiently.

Thanks,
:) :) :)

The model number to my Kenmore Spacemaster microwave is Model #564.8755380. If it is indeed the fuse and I'm able to get to it, I need to know how to get the front control panel off to get to the fuse (if that is where it is located.)

Once I get into that area, do I need to "discharge the capacitator" so that I don't get shocked?

Nauzergirl,

I don't have much information here,
It appears you'll need to remove the outer cabinet, to access the fuse,(you'll need to remove the unit from the cabinet)

Yes, you will want to discharge the capacitor, Always, on any system that contains a capacitor, it retains high voltage until it is discharged, be carefull.
We have several people on the forum, and they may have more, or better information than I have, and may be of more assistance.

:) :) :)
