we bought a used gas range from our local Sears store, upon delivery, we had to do all set-up, meaning, we had to change the orfis's, because we use propane. We found them for the burners, but not for the oven.:rolleyes:
My question is where is the orfis located to operate the oven. When we first turned the oven on, the flames shoot out by the air flow spaces on the lower part of the oven. We are afraid that the flames could cause the item baking to catch fire. Hopefully you can help Joy

You need to change the regulator cap by reversing it and all that is needed for the oven burner is loosen the orifice it will be the brass cone looking thingy that the burner rest on its on the gas valve if you remove the storage drawer you'll see what I'm talking about if it is flush against the gas valve loosen it 2 or three turns you use a half inch open end wrench that will fit on oriface it will look like a nut
