Hi,
I would like to know if someone can help me locate an oven safety valve for a Gaffers & Sattler - Double Wall Oven - Model # 2300. I desperately am trying to help a sweet senior citizen find this part. She is the original owner and the stove is in excellent condition. I have the serial number, too. A few weeks ago one of her ovens started to leak gas. It was determined she needs an oven safety valve. But, was told they are rare to come by. At that time the gas was turned off to stop the leak. So...the dilemna is...the building she lives in is old and when the ovens were put in, gas was the only way to go. Now to convert to electric it would cost her atleast $30,000 to bring the power line up to the 15th floor, in which she lives on. She's had many appliance dealers in to see about replacing the ovens and nothing fits the space. So...if anyone has any bit of information on obtaining Gaffers & Sattler parts it would be very much appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. :)

The cut out space is 24 1/2 in wide by 50 !/2 length. The ovens that can somewhat go into that space are GE and Frigidaire. Because of the structure of the building and the terrible kitchen design, it's nearly impossible to pull out the old ovens and install the new one. She had many appliance dealers into her home to see what they can do. Unfortunately, they all seem to agree on replacing the broken part if possible.
