When I start the dryer, it starts up, the igniter lights after a few seconds and stays on for 10-15 seconds, but no flame. I replaced the coils already.

I checked continuity for what I think are the limit thermostat and the thermal fuse and they are fine.

In the picture is the cycling thermostat. When I take the wires off, prong 1 to 3 has continuity, but 1 to 2 and 2 to 3 do not.

I don't know if this means it's the problem or if that's normal?

Thanks!

The problem could be inthe ignitor. Even though it glows red it still could be defective. The ignitor when glowing must pull more then 3 amps before gas valve will open. This is how the appliance knows the ignitor is on. If you have an amp clamp, measure the amp draw on the ignitor to verify.

The problem here turned out to be the vavle assembly itself. I replaced parts from another dryer until I had a working frankendryer and it was that part that did it.

Thanks.
