Hi
My GE Microwave touchpad is not responding. The Fan/light physical buttons are working. I have been able to reset it once by removing the plug overnight and then plugging it back in. I have read that this could be fixed by replacing the control board. Is this what you would recommend replacing? This is a lot cheaper than replacing the touchpad itself.

You really need to determint whether the problen is the touchpad or the board. You could be wasting money on the parts, if you relace one unnecessarily.
