It does not seem to be related to your heat setting.
Could be that there is a broken wire in the motor that opens once it warms up. I guess I am thinking along the same lines. Perhaps the internal thermal protector on the motor is weak?... similar to an electrical breaker that gets weak and continually trips? Thank you for your time and help. I appreciate it. Bart
