When we touch the Bake option and try to set the temp, it starts at 140 and it looks okay but after 30 seconds or so the temp indicator just goes out and the oven does not heat up. If we open and shut the door several times it will work (stay on and heat up) but there is not a real sold way to say if you do this it will start each time. I also noticed that the touch points on the front panel “crackle” when you push them… what’s up?
Not sure if its the Timer, electronics---

Concerning the heating problem the first failure suspect is the control board aka a timer. The problem with the panel at this time looks like not serious but it could go worse.
