I just replaced the heating element (it WAS broken) on my dryer. I put it back together, and now it won't even start! I've checked for loose wires, the ciruit breaker and the door - all seem OK. Now what do I do??

Did you replace the whole assembly, or did you use the "re-string" kit? Check to make sure you reconnected the wires on both the element, and the thermostats. (Make sure the machine is unplugged first). it could be that one or more of the thermostats blew when the element quit working.

Could also be the belt switch, make sure the belt pully assy is back together the right way. The dryer will not start if this is not together correct.
