The right rear burner on my cook-top throws soot and scorches my pots. Repair people have been out, but the adjustments don't hold and the scorching starts up again. I think I just need to replace the burner, part number AP4094574. Does that sound correct? Thanks.

I believe the new burner, properly adjusted, should solve this problem.

I would better use the burner with the part number AP376987
