Not Much Louder Than Normal But Sounds Different. I Looked At Bottom, There Is A White Plastic Circle That Broke Off The Cap Covering End Of Shaft And Grease On Floor. Recommend ?

Lift the washer from the front. Remove the belt and rotate the pump pulley (in the right rear corner). If it does not move freely then replace the pump. The new pump can look different because Maytag redesigned it. - The part number for the pump is AP3873289 Gene.
