I have a GE Harmony washer and dryer. Both piece of #$%@ . Washer was running and stopped in mid cycle leaving water/clothes in machine wet. Message says, problem detected. I tried running just spin cycle to get the water out, same message. Repair man said he did not have computer to talk with machine so he can not fix.

Anyone have any ideas to at least trouble shoot this thing before I trash it?

If you will post a model number someone may be able to help.

With respect to a repair tech, GE does not release tech info so you need an authorized GE technician if you are going to go that route, although I am not sure what "computer" he or she was talking about. I am guessing the tech did not want to work on this model, for reasons you are all to famliar with.
