Well the serial # on my washer says 13817798ER and the part number on the box that i got says "Triple Lip Kit" W10116791. The guy at the appliance parts store told me not to open the box until i was sure i got the washer torn apart to where it needs to be which makes sense since shit like this usually isnt returnable.

Thats good news! Well i got nosy today so i opened the box of parts that i got just to see what's in it...Im like a kid at christmas...lol....So can someone give me some detailed instructions on how to do this? It came with instructions in the box but its saying i need some other revised bearing tool or somethin? wtf......this is gay.....i got the kit for $70 so now i suppose i need another $100 worth of "special tools" to do this? im sure there is a way around those, right? i have tons of automotive tools including a 3 jaw puller. There's always a way around things..........but f- it, if its necessary i can go get these damn tools that im gonna use once and cant return.............................. i can take a pic of the parts in this kit if that helps......pleeeease!

What would i need to make that tool....the one in that write up looks homemade....The appliance repair shop told me it would be $300 to repair it....Depending on what tools i need im sure i could do it.....If i can do headgaskets then this should be cake.....

also have you got it apart yet? you may need a whole outer tub you can also use the old bearing and seal to drive in the new one drive the old one out with a big ass socket or something be creative I made one out of a fabric softner dispenser and an whirlpool old belt drive centerpost bearing puller that PVC cap is the diameter of the tub where the seal gets installed
