Hi. Right before the washer failed there was a burning rubber smell. Now it fills but just clicks. It wont aggitate, spin, or drain. It makes me think the coupling failed due to the burning rubber smell. But after checking your forum I've found that if it won't drain then its usually transmission or pump related. I'm looking for my multimeter to test the lid switch but its the whole "no drain" thing that has me worried that it might not be just the coupling. Thanks for any help.

Would a failed lid switch cause those symptoms? Mainly the clicking and no draining? My other washer would aggitate with the lid open.
