I have a Kenmore side-by-side refirgerator - Model 106.9547611 - and the icemaker is leaking between the control module and the cube tray. Where can I get replacement gaskets to fix the problem or do I have to replace the entire icemaker unit?

Wilders,

First check and make sure the fridge and the icemaker itself are both level.
Check and make sure the water depth in the ice cube mold is correct(4 to 4.5 oz. or 2 to 2.5 inches deep) you may have a sticky or seaping fill valve.
I don't recomend adjusting the water level, but if you wish, there is an adjustment screw on the right side of the control module. turn the screw clockwise to reduce the water level, but no more than 2 complete revolutions.

There are no gaskets or seals in the icemaker itself. So we've coverred as much as possible, if you need to, your best bet would be to replace the ice maker itself, after you verify the checks I reccomended.

I have the same ice maker. It is leaking toward the back of the unit. I discovered the Teflon coating is de-laminating from the tray and the water is leaking out between the coating and the tray.
I don't suppose there is a touch-up paint that can be used to repair it.

Marvie,
Your best bet would be to replace the icemaker assembly,

Based on your post, you may have an issue with : the ice cube mold, the mold heater, the fill circuit in the control module, and heater thermosta circuit in the control module.

We're sending you some basic icemaker checks, and if you have a multimeter, You can test the circuits and determine or pinpoint the issue.

Fuse location and diagram.doc (238kb) downloaded 8 time(s).

Aned here's some meter usage information should you need it.

Marvie,
Check and make sure the freezer temperature is an average of 3-5 dgrs. F.
Make sure the dispenser door rflapper is closing and sealing. Then replace the fill valve on the back of the fridge, if all's OK.

Thanks,
