Does anyone know whether or not i was actually supposed to cut the jumper wire when installing the new board part number wr55x10942? the directions said to do so but I have not seen it done on any of the instructional video's.

The fridge is still not defrosting correctly after I paid 137.00 for this mother board.

Can anyone help? I need to conquer this fridge and so far it is kicking my butt.

Thanks.

Did you perform any troubleshooting before you replaced the main control board?

Gene.
