I had a plumber here today to fix my drain pipe for my washer - was replaced with PVC. Before the plumber came out, the washer worked fine. Now after it being unplugged for a few hours the washer will not fill with water and begin aggitating. It fills, then starts to slowly drain water out, have to swith from Large load to Medium load to get it to start aggitating. HELP

HELP JeffandSara, The Plumber, did not set the top of the new drain pipe high enough. the reccomended heigth of the top of the drain pipe is 38 inches up from the floor. Water always seeks it's own level, when the drain pipe is too low, the water flows through the washer and out the drain, it's called a "syphon effect", the plumber needs to return and extend or replace the new drain pipe . Good Luck, :) :) :)

Thank you for your rapid response.... I have the plumber coming out Monday to fix the problem. I sure thought it was going to be something wrong with the washer itself and am totally relieved to find out it will be an easy fix!!!!!!! Again, thank you!
