My GE frigerator will operate normal for two weeks and then suddenly the freezer will thaw. The fan in the freezer section will stop due to ice build up and the fridge section will warm up too. We then find large pools of water underneath the refrigerator and ice build on the top of the fridge compartment. After 8 hours of thawing, everything goes back to normal for another three weeks. Any help would be great on this subject.

Next time it fails, I would drop the control panel and tap on either the defrost timer AP2061693 or the cold control AP3995960, one is sticking.
