Hi, I need a discontinued cold control thermostat for this compact GE fridge. The GE part# is: WR9K0001 but I cant find one anywhere. Can I adapt a different one to it? Thanks a bunch.

I would use a universal, constant differential control on this, GC505. The sensing wire for this stays looped and gets routed away from the freezer vent. This is an ambient control and will not work at cold temperatures.
