I recently had issues with my Duet dryer shutting off during the cycle and not getting hot. I figured there must be an issue with the heating element so I called a parts house who said bring in the element in and they would test it for me. They ended up telling me there was nothing wrong with the element, it was the thermistor. I purhased the thermistor kit and replaced both parts and re-installed the unit. Things have worked well now for approximately 6 weeks and now AI am getting the E1 error code and the unit is randomly shutting again. I had already checked and cleaned all of the lint traps and areas that lint accumulate in so that should not be the issue. Any ideas?
