A couple of weeks ago the lower oven on our maytag gemini dual oven stopped working. I replaced the lower heating element, but it still does not work. When setting the oven at all temps it reverts to the 100 degree setting. The upper element does attempt to heat up, but the lower element remains cold. I wondered if it could be a fuse. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

I am now having this problem. I had the motherboard control unit replaced last year. Any thoughts on what the problem might be?

Did you ever get yours fixed? Ours is doing the same in both ovens.

We did get the mother board fixed for the tune of $584.00. As it turns out, I think you can get the part on-line for less than $200.00. I watched the repair tech and it took him 10 minutes. Just unplug the old one put the new one in. However, the the following summer, the lower oven would not ignite. I forced Lowe's to exchange the unit as they would not give me a refund. I then called Maytag and purchased the extended warranty.

trishtank,
What exactly is wrong with your range? What is the complete model number of the range?
Gene.
