I have a GE heating furnace (inside a closet door) and it only blows cold air. The thermostat was replaced and is only two years and it is working. The furnace has pilot lights lit and it works well with the thermostat. the air condition also work. the home has central heat and air.

I called a technician and he said that i need to get a replacement for the heater. The problem is I cannot get the credit for a loan for the new heater replacement.

can this furnace be fix until i get the money to replace the heater? I am cold. Please help.

We don't do central heat & air units, but when was the thermostat changed? And by who?
The reason I ask is if the thermostat wasn't wired correctly the air conditioning could work and the heat not. I would check the wiring first.
