I looked up the diode, it's $54! is this right? why in the world is a diode so expensive? I see three thermostat listed for the microwave, which one is which? thanks in advance

The diode is expensive because this is GE part - most expensive parts among other brands. Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 3/18/2011(UTC) Posts: 14		everything works except no heat. Found the schematic behind the control panel and following the process, the diode is bad (low resistance measurement to ground). the manual said to change out the HVC also. Is this necessary?
