My washer wont advance normally into spin cycle after the rinse. After the water drains the motor just makes a buzzing noise. It wont spin. But if I open & close the lid it will start spinning. This had been constant for months. I replaced the lid switch but that did not fix the problem. What part do I need?
Thanks

It sounds like your timer isn't stopping after the spin cycle, it should pause. Raising the lid simulates the pause so it can then go forward. I would suggest replacing the timer, part #AP2045781. Nat(Natalie)

That is what I suspected but my husband disagreed (that is why we replaced the lid switch). Thanks for your help!
