I have an Amana Refrigerator ARB220ZCB which stopped cooling in the last few days. Unfortunately, we had to throw out a lot of frozen fish we had caught personally in Alaska and off the CA coast! How can we evaluate the problem and decide if it's worth repairing before spending a lot of / any money on it? Appreciate your opinion. Thank you

Check to see if the compressor is running, it should vibrate and get really warm. Also check to make sure the coils near the compressor are clean and the fan is running. Let us know what you find there. Nat

Hello
I checked out the refrigerator. The fan is running, but I can't see any evidence of anything warm. There are no coils visible, but the panel on the back where air is coming out is not at all warm.
Any further suggestions, or should I go shopping?
Thank you,

Ted, Call a tech for verification first on the unit. It maybe something rather simple that's hard to see.Depesnding on when you purchased it i the compressor would be under warranty. Post your complete model & serial numbers off the unit itself and I can check. Nat
