My dishwasher started making a very loud noise when it gets to the end of the drain cycle. I removed the diswasher and took the inside assemble completely apart. I did find a black film on the shaft of the motor where the impeller is connected but the impeller appears to be in decent shape. I was going to order a seal kit that includes the impeller but not sure if this is going to solve the draining problem. Any suggestions?

The metal part that is mounted above the motor was loose, I thought that was causing the noise but I did "shim" the metal with some tin I had in the garage and it didn't shut the noise up.
