We had power outages the other night, on and off again and again... the next day our Dryer would not start. Everything lights up, but the timer display only shows ---, unless I place it on "Timed Dry", then it only goes by 1HR, 2HR etc... not minutes. And it still does not start... I was thinking about replacing the motherboard looking control unit inside... any thoughts??
Thanks in advance, Mike

I would certainly try that, given that electrical surges can cause damage.
It is an expensive part, so if you buy from this site and the part does not fix the problem you can return it, see the returns policy for details and conditions.
