My dryer stopped working. I checked the voltage at the wall outlet and it runs 241 VAC. The door switch works and the thermostat switch (near the door switch on the inside of the dryer) also works (checked with voltage meter). I attempted to take off the back panel to find the thermal fuse, but the sucker would not budge. The timer works (ticks), but the start switch seems dead. The vent is clear.
Help! deburrito:(

Go to the sears site sears3.com for take apart info, your thermal fuse may be behind the front panel on the blower housing. This site will give a part # that you can use at appliancepartspros to order.

Thanks for the response. I cannot open the Sears website that you gave me to find the take apart diagram. I've tried several times. I am confused.
