The plunger on the soap/rinseaid dispenser is vibrating and sounds like a jackhammer. I replaced the soap dispenser assmebly but the new one does the same thing. When I apply pressure on the door release it quiets the noise. Is there something I can do to fix this problem?

Replace the board because it is constantly telling the rinseaid dispenser to dispense? Will it harm the unit if I unplug the soap dispenser and run it and just leave the soap door open when the dishwasher is used?

Yes but your dishes probably wont come clean because the soap will get used up in the pre wash you would have to stop mid cycle when the soap door is suppose to open to add more soap
