I am trying to replace the control switch on my dual element ceramic burner but the instructions do not match my configuration. Here are the details:
OLD SWITCH: (wire labels) #1 Red (A/B) #2 Black (RL1) #3 Red (LF3) #4 Brown (LFN) #5 Red (RL2) #6 Orange (LFA)
NEW SWITCH: [conversion instructions] P1 [connect to 2] 4 [connect to 3] 4a [connect to 4] S2 [connect to 5] 2 [connect to N or (L2b)N] P2 [connect to N or (L2b)N]
Can anyone tell me how to connect this new switch? Thank you for your help.

I have that instruction page but I have terminals #1 & #6, not N or (L2b)N. If I connect wires #2-#5 as per the instructions I have a red and orange wire left over not a red and brown.

OK, I goofed. After taking the switch completely out and examining it thoroughly in good lighting, I found that terminals 1 & 6 were actually not there and there was an N that I did not see. The switch is installed and working properly.
