Not sure why, but this morning the re was a loud sound coming from my frezer. It is a side by side model (I am not sure on the model number but it is about 5 years old or so). When the frezer door is opened the sound gets louder. Anyone have any Ideas? Thanks

Check around the evaporator fan, located behind the rear panel in the freezer, ther may be ice buildup that the fan blade is hitting or the bearings may be going out of the fan motor. Nat

Thats my problem..bearings going out or fan hitting...I have a Kitchen Aide, 10 years old. Can I get at that fan from inside the freezer, or do I have to come in through the back?
