My basin pump would cycle and stop. I blew back from the drain and had some stuff come up. Still same action; pump would cycle for 2 seconds and stop. I took the pump out and wired the pump to the wall outlet and it operates. Put the pump back in and now just get a humming noise from the capaitor. Pump or control board?

I have a kenmore dishwasher 5871436083 cat#14360, it will not drain completly. does this machine have some type type of screen? I have removed most of the parts from the top and cant see where it drains out.
