My gas stove seems not to heat the food all of the time
The oven looks like it is on but it takes forever to bake the food
Any help

Check your thermostat, it's probably wearing out, part #AP2141166

Could be an ignitor or a thermastat but first you need to verify if the main burner is liting up

I took stove apart to check burner
Heres what its doing
Have it set to 400
The burner lights but the flame is very small almost like a warming setting
sometimes you will here a swish and the flame jumps larger
Would this be the thermostat

Could be the thermostat or possibly the valve not opening as it should. You may also want o clean the burner out, make sure there are no debris in it.
