How do I remove the platic trim plate on the outside of the freezer door for the water and Ice dispencer. I don't want to break it. I had a spring and some parts fall out and need to access it to figure out what I need to do to fix it.

Are you talking about the dispenser front cover?

Yes, I can't see anywhere that maybe a screw driver would pop it loose.

There are two slots on the bottom of the frame. Insert a screwdriver blade into the slots and gently turn the blade. The cover will snap free at the bottom and can be slid upward.
