I have an older Frigidaire FLSE72GCS0 washer/dryer combo that has worked fine up until last week. It fills ok but then just sits there. No spin, agitate, or drain. I know it must be some type of sensor that tells the washer its filled and to start the agitate cycle but I have no idea where to look or if thats the real problem. Has anyone encountered this before and how di you solve it. i'd rather try to fix it myself than call the appliance repair if i can.

The first line of attack for this type of problem is the lid switch, this part here.

Part number: AP2108159
Part number: AP2108159

Test it for continuity or by pass it to see if that will fix the problem.

Same trouble (plus electrical odor). Checked lid switch and it is functioning. What next?

Clo

If you will start a new thread and post your model number, along with a brief discussion of exactly how your machine is malfunctioning, how old it is, any other previous problems etc someone should be able to help you.

Thanks
