My lint catcher holder cracked and then a large piece broke off. The lint catcher is still in there however my clothes are getting caught on the broken piece. Is there a way to fix this withour replacing the whole machine?

You should be able to replace the lint screen. Post your model number so we can research the possiblties.

I previously posted question and I do not think I explained properly. The housing for my lint screen has a piece broken from it and my clothes are getting caught and ruined. It does not seem like a seperate piece. Is there a way to repair this?

You can change just the housing, part # AP2586351. Save you a lot compared to a new unit!!:o)

Thank you so much. Will this be hard for us to do ourselves? Will instructions come with the part?

It's not that hard to do, I don't remember if instructions will come with it or not.

That part is, by the model number posted, what you will need to repair that broken plastic, it comes as an assembly.
