Based on other posts (error code 01-platini), I think the dual cold water valve on my bosch front loading washing machine isn't working. I'd like to replace it myself but don't know how to get in there. Do I remove the top panel or the back? Are there screws or do I just pop those clips at the top? Will I need special tools to disconnect the valve or do the hoses just unscrew? Are there any wires attached that tell the valves when to open? Do these questions make it clear that I should not be trying this myself? Thanks for your help.

I don't have info on the bosch but I did replace one before. I just took the top off the washer, and then you can get to it. Tom www.applianceeducator.com

Thanks for your reply, Tom.
Do you remember if the valve easily popped into place?
