Today I have noticed that the washer will fill with water but does not start. Please help,it has worked yesterday for the first load and when I put the second load the washer is filled with water but does not start or spin.

I have the same problem. If I let the unit rest a few moments the unit will also go through the spin cycle, but it will not agitate??

himaraju,

The first thing I would check is the lid switch. If it's broken or not engaged properly then there is no power to the motor.

- The part number for the lid switch is AP3094500

Here are the break down diagrams for the Kitchen Aid washer Model KAWE764WWH2

James,

We need the complete model number of the washer and more specific description on the problem.
