this is the second post concerning this washer after fixing the agitator i started the washer and it went through it's cycle one time except that it did not rinse so i tried to recheck the process and this time it would not even fill with water so i would like to know if i am right in my assumption that it is possibly a problem with water inlet vale or do i need to look at somewhere else also.

it could be the pressure switch didn't reset when it called for water in the rinse and it is also possible that the cold valve failed try a warm rinse and see if it only fills with hot water

ok but now i can not get it to fill on the wash cycle and i will try the warm water rinse side to see if water will enter the tub this is in addition to not filling at all, any suggestion on the items to check and in what order to preform these checks?

it now appears that i can not get any water to flow neither cold or warm i haven't checked the filter screens yet but my guess is that the water inlet vales are possibly at fault if it is neither of these 2 then wherelse is ther to look for the cause, everything else seems to bo working fine?

Check the pressure switch this could lead to a no fill condition and in a GE washer is pretty common, To test the fill vale you can do it a couple ways 1 is tyo put 120 vac directly to the valve with a test cord the other is to check the solonoids with an ohm meter
