Sometimes, not always, I get F1 code. Can go through the clear code steps and after a couple of times washer works ok. Manual says this is a control module problem (communications) and needs to be replaced. 2ND: Whenever machine is working and filling with water there is a "scream" from the valve nearest the left side of washer. Two different problems??? Has anyone seen this problem on the Maytag Bravo before? Thanks

2ND: Whenever machine is working and filling with water there is a "scream" from the valve nearest the left side of washer... In which manual did you find it? According to the Tech sheet, the "F1" error code means the control detects an out of range pressure signal. The recommended procedure in that case is to check the pressure hose connection from the tub to the machine/motor control. If it's not pinched or kinked then the machine/motor control has to be replaced. If this noise is coming from the water inlet valve and not from the wall outlet vale, replace the inlet water valve. - The machine/motor control board Part number: AP4360738
