Kenmore Electric Dryer HE2 model 110.8656 Purchased Jan 2006

All the buttons work and can change cycles and time.

Push the start button nothing happens, then hear a click and a code
"F-26" starts flashing. As far as I can tell there is no heat generating.

Happened today between loads when my honey was doing laundry after returning from the beach.

Pull out front bottom panel and the service sheet. Most probable failure is the thermistor or thermal fuse. Just check what the error code means.
