When selecting the water level or to reset the water level, the knob just turns with no effect. The knob comes off and won't go back on. How do I fix the problem?

This component is called the pressure switch, very easy repair, look behind the unit console for 2 silver screws the console should pop up from the back after these are loosened and you can access the switch, it will have a clear tube attached to it, look for a small tab that locks the switch into place, and swivel counter clockwise it should drop down, and be sure to install tube firmly on install or unit will flood your house.
