Well I am back, The good news is that the Water Level Pressure Switch was easy to install. The bad news is it was mot the issue. Any ideas where I go from here? Does a Tech have the capability to diagnose issues with a meter versus trial and error?

Help!

Well darn again. I am getting frustrated, so I imagine you are also to a much higher degree.

I assume you checked the tube from the water pressure switch to the tub to make sure it was clean and clear of debris, if not try that. It's a long shot but that what we are left with.

I think if you get a visit by a tech he or she will just start replacing parts, startiing with the main control board. I would order the main control board and take advantage of the returns policy of APP so you are not out a lot of money if that does not fix things.

These machines are great when they work, but when there is trouble they are , well you now know what they are.

Good luck, let us know what you do and how it turns out.

I have checked the tube and validated that it is clear. Is the control board the last option? Can it be the water valve? By chance do you have the part number for the main control board?

It looks like there are several control units for your model. I would call APP and get them to determine the correct part for your model. You will need to have both the model number and the serial number.

I assumed that water was correctly flowing into the machine, but if not then the valve assembly could be the problem. YOu can check with a meter to see if current is getting to it. If it is not or if water is coming into the machine, the main board is your best bet, only because that is the only thing left that is a good candidate for the problem.

Well I finally got the machine working by replacing the control board. I would like to thank everyone who assisted in providing direction. There is one note though, post installing the control board. It took a few cycles for the machine to run correctly. I assume it is the machine learning the new computer, it has ran perfect every since.

Well, it seems to always turn out to be the most expensive part, but glad you got it fixed and thanks for updating us. Just wish it could have been a less expensive part, particularly since the machine was not that old, but this is the world of circuit boards and micro processors that we now live in.

Whasman

Please start a new thread and give as much detail as you can about your problem, and be sure and include the brand and model number.

Thanks
