I have an older kenmore washer model 70 heavy duty that will wash and spin but an hour or so later it leaks all over the floor. Apparently it does not drain completely. I have checked the drain and it is not clogged. Can someone tell me a possible solution for this problem.

Take off the cabinet and by pass the lid switch and run it through a cycle. You should be able to see where the leak is.

When the motor is spinning the tub it is also engaging the pump, so if it is not draining either the impellers in the pump are going or there is a blockage. Has to be one of the other.
