i have checked for a lid switch but i don't believe this mode has one, the wash cycle will not start after filling where do i look on this type of washer?

The closest match to the model number you posted is CAWB522SQ0 the model number posted doesn't pull up. Please verify the number.

That model number doesn't pull up on any of my suppliers websites.
Maybe someone else can help you locate it.

after double checking i seem to have made an error the model number caws522tq. i had to check with the company for the correct model number.

i have contacted a dealer and they have told me that it is a lid switch and that it will need to be replaced but here the twist they want to send out a repairman to test the switch all i want to know is the location of this switch i can test it myself. if at all possible can you help me with this or point me in the right direction of someone who can.

i called the dealer and they told me that this washer was only about 2-3 months old and that it was still under warranty and they sent out a tech to check it out and here is what they found that it was a limit switch problem and that it was not getting contact or something like that. it seems that the lid switch is not made like the common type and he pointed it out where it was and what it looks like it is located in the control panel
